What is the growth of Conversion Rate Optimisation?

Over the past few years, there has been an exponential growth in Conversion Rate Optimisation, A/B testing, and related fields.

Businesses have realised that it’s important not only to invest in acquiring traffic for their websites, but also to ensure that visitors to their site are converting into customers.

This is partly owing to the fact that over the years, traditional growth channels such as SEO have become stagnated because of being crowded. Newer businesses usually have a hard time trying to out compete their competitors.

Moreover, paid traffic acquisition (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Quora Ads, you name it) now costs increasingly more than ever, and so, it isn’t possible for small businesses to make it profitable.

Hence, to ensure continuous business growth, businesses have to simply look inward and optimise what is entirely in their control—the website conversion funnel.
